GVSU Downs Michigan Tech 8-1

Houghton, Mich. - The Grand Valley State women's tennis team defeated Michigan Tech 8-1 on Saturday (Sept. 25) in Houghton, Mich. The Lakers picked up all six singles matches and two doubles matches to claim the win. GVSU advances its record to 5-0 overall, 5-0 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) action, while Michigan Tech falls to 1-3 overall, 1-3 in GLIAC. Grand Valley State will travel to Midland, Mich. on Tuesday, Sept. 28 to face Northwood.
