GVSU Drops 5-2 Decision to Ferris State

Midland, Mich. - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Ferris State in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament in the third place match. The Lakers finish their season at 12-12 overall and 3-3 in conference play.

GVSU picked up two wins in the doubles competition. Brock Plangger and Philipp Claus defefeated Jack Swan and Justin Hermes 9-7 in the No. 2 doubles, while Jeff Globerson and Ryan Diebold defeated Ahmet Demir and Arin Enge 8-5 at the No. 3 doubles.

Claus was the top finisher this year for the Lakers at 20-9 overall, followed by Globerson at 19-7 and Josh Kazdan at 17-11.
