MIDLAND, Mich. - Grand Valley State dropped a 5-0 decision to Northwood in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) Championship at the Midland Community Tennis Center on Sunday. The Lakers head into the national tournament with a record of 20-8.

Tony Dang and Marc Roesslein played at first doubles and lost 8-6. Brock Plangger and Michael Coupek met the same fate at second double, while Matt Globerson and Philipp Claus found themselves on the wrong end of an 8-5 score in the third spot.

In singles play, only two matches went final before NU took the GLIAC crown. Roesslein fell 6-2, 6-3 at second singles and Josh Kazdan lost 6-3, 6-1 in the sixth spot. The four other singles matches went unfinished, as the Timberwolves claimed a 5-0 win.
