Grand Valley State swept Findlay, 9-0 in a GLIAC contest on Saturday morning. The Lakers improve to 2-0 in both GLIAC action and overall play. GVSU will host Michigan Tech on Friday, Sept. 9 at 3:00 p.m.

The Lakers won all three doubles matches and all six singles matches. GVSU only dropped six games in singles action. Senior Alison Koopsen won 6-0, 6-1 at #1 singles, while freshman Lindsay Grimmer won 6-1, 6-1 at #2 singles. Sophomore Emily Zellner picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at #3 singles and freshman Sarah Schweickart won 6-0, 6-1 at #4 singles. Freshman Audrey Koopsen won, 6-0, 6-0 at #5 singles and sophomore Stefanie Prociv tallied a 6-0, 6-0 win at #6 singles.
