Grand Valley State defeated Wisconsin-Parkside 3-0 (30-19, 30-22, 30-20) on Saturday morning at the Ashland Invitational. The Lakers will conclude the tournament on Saturday against Wheeling Jesuit at 2:00 p.m. GVSU is now 7-3 overall.

Senior middle blocker Tracy Kirk led the team with 10 kills, a .421 attack percentage, three digs, four solo and three assisted blocks. Senior outside hitter Tina Tromblay posted eight kills, a .500 hitting perecntage, and a solo and two assisted blocks. Redshirt freshman Jamie Ashmore recorded 15 assists and four service aces.

The Lakers tallied 17 total blocks and 10 service aces as a team.
