#12 Grand Valley State ended the GLIAC vs. GLVC Crossover with a 3-0 (30-24, 30-18, 30-26) win over Southern Indiana. The Lakers are now 8-3 overall. GVSU will begin GLIAC play as they host Ashland on Friday, Sept. 17 at 7:00 p.m. and Findlay on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 4:00 p.m.
The Lakers tallied a .250 attack percentage and eight service aces, while Southern Indiana hit just .157. Senior Stephanie Maciasz and junior Tina Tromblay each tallied 10 kills for GVSU. Tromblay also added 10 digs and sophomore Megan Helsen posted 12 digs. Junior Michele Ehrlich recorded 40 assists for the Lakers.
