Ashland, Ohio - Grand Valley State dropped three of four games at 14th-ranked Ashland University. The Lakers lost the opener,9-8, then picked up a 6-0 win in game two when three innings were played Saturday and four Sunday. GVSU led 1-0 when the game was called due to darkness. Ashland won the final two Sunday, 7-3 and 5-4. GVSU falls to 12-10 overall and 4-4 in GLIAC action. The Lakers will play their home opener Tuesday versus Hope at 3 p.m.
