Final Stats

Grand Valley State had no trouble with its second game on Saturday as they defeated Alderson-Broaddus, 3-0 (30-11, 30-19, 30-10). The Lakers improve to 5-2 on the season. #11 GVSU will battle #13 North Alabama in the last match of the Days Inn Classic on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Lakers were led by Leah Kunz who tallied 37 assists and four digs. Kelsey Schuiteman recorded seven kills, 15 total attacks, and three service aces. Molly Young had a team-high 11 digs and added six kills. Lauren Hanon tallied a team-high nine kills, 14 total attacks and four digs. Julie Brusie added five digs.
