Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State couldn't hold onto a three-run lead in the bottom of the ninth as the Pumas of St. Joseph's College scored four runs to claim an 11-10 win. GVSU, which will host Northwood University Wednesday in a GLIAC doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m., falls to 29-11-1 overall.

LF Kevin Boyd collected three hits and drove home three runs, while CF Mike McCallister notched three hits on the afternoon. 1B Joe Brunink hit a 2-run HR and SS Tony Pfennig tallied two hits. Joe Finnerty took the loss for the Lakers.
