Box Score

Grand Valley State picked up two wins over Bellarmine on Sunday. The Lakers improve to 18-1 on the season.

Grand Valley won game one, 3-0. Jennifer Mackson picked up the win, pitching seven innings, allowing five hits, one walks, and struck out 11 batters.

Lindsay Crawford and Sara Vroegindewey each went 2-for-4 on the day and Rachel Blain was 2-for-3. Jennifer Goldschmeding hit her third home run of the season.

In game two, the Lakers won, 4-3. Kristin Jenner pitched five innings, allowing three runs and striking out three. Jennifer Mackson pitched the final two innings, striking out three and earned the win.

Grand Valley was led by Goldschmeding on offense, as she went 2-for-4, with two homeruns. Blain was also 2-for-4 in the game. Bobbi Conner and erin Ballinger each hit doubles and Crawford added another Laker home run.

GVSU is scheduled to play Olivet College, Wednesday at 3 p.m. Check the GVSU website for an update about the game being played due to weather conditions.
