GVSU Drops 75-69 Decision At Ferris State

Big Rapids, Mich. - Grand Valley State dropped a 75-69 decision at Ferris State Monday (Feb. 10) night. GVSU drops to 20-4 overall and 11-4 in GLIAC action, while Ferris State improves to 13-9 overall and 8-7 in GLIAC action.

Julie Zeeff led GVSU with 24 points and six rebounds, while Laurie Rehmann added 17 points and eight assists. GVSU trailed by as many as 19 in the opening stanza. The Lakers shot 47.1 percent, but FSU shot a sizzling 60.4 percent from the floor. GVSU trailed 42-26 at the half, but outscored the Bulldogs 43-33 in the final 20 minutes.

GVSU will host Saginaw Valley State Thursday (Feb. 13) at 6 p.m. Seniors Laurie Rehmann and Jennifer Nielsen will be honored during halftime of the men's game.
