Grand Valley State defeated Findlay, 3-2 (30-26, 30-28, 28-30, 25-30, 15-12), in the Semifinals of the GLIAC Tournament on Friday. The Lakers will face Northern Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 15 ay 4:00 p.m. for the GLIAC Tournament title.

GVSU was led by freshman Megan Helsen who recorded a team-high 16 kills and added three service aces, eight digs, and two assisted blocks. Tracy Kirk recorded 12 kills and six total blocks, while Sabrina Bird added 10 kills and nine blocks. Nicole Bayle tallied 53 assists, seven blocks, and a team-high 15 digs. Melissa Reneski added 14 digs, while Molly Young and Katie Horvath each added 10 digs for the Lakers.

Grand Valley is now 26-6 overall.
