Hillsdale, Mich. - 10th-ranked Grand Valley State claimed a 74-57 victory over Tiffin Saturday in first-round action at the Hillsday College Rotary Classic. GVSU improves to 12-0 on the year.

Cori Jewett led GVSU with 16 points, while Laurie Rehmann chipped in 15 points. Julie Zeeff (14), Jen Nielsen (11) and Allison Rivette (10) all reached double figures.

Grand Valley State will play a key Great Lakes Regional matchup Sunday versus Wisconsin-Parkside at 1 p.m.
