Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State improved to 11-0 with a 92-44 victory over Davenport on Thursday in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. The Lakers, who are ranked #10 in the latest WBCA Top 25, had four players score in double figures and were led by Jennifer Nielsen who had 17 points and 8 assists. Freshman Alexandra Rivette scored a season high 15 points and added 11 rebounds. Julie Zeeff and Laurie Rehmann scored 15 and 13 points, respectively.

The Lakers hit 10 3's in the first half to jump out to a 48-28 lead at the break and cruised to the easy win. GVSU had only seven turnovers while forcing Davenport into 26 miscues, and holding them to 30% shooting.

GVSU will play in the Hillsdale Holiday Classic on December 28th against Tiffin and December 29th against Wisconsin-Parkside.
