The Grand Valley State Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving programs have both earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of American (CSCCA) Scholar Team honors for the 2017 Fall semester it was announced CSCCA. 

The 14th-ranked Laker women tallied a team grade point average of 3.21 with 18 student-athletes achieving a 3.0 or better, while the 5th-ranked men recorded a team GPA of 3.08 and 21 student-athletes notched a GPA of 3.0 or better. 

To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the Fall Semester.

Grand Valley State, the defending men's and women's GLIAC Champions, will return to action at the 2018 GLIAC Championships February 14-17. All of the action will take place at the Jenison Aquatic Center.
