Friday will officially begin with at 9:45 am the 60m dash of the Heptathlon, while the rest of the meet will begin at 10 am with the men's 5000m and the
long jump will start at 12:30 pm. Saturday kicks off with the jumps and throws at 9 a.m., and the first running event will be the women's 60m hurdle semi-finals.
Competing at the Big Meet will be some of the top teams and individuals in the country across all levels of competition. Along with Grand Valley State, teams sending athletes to the Kelly Center this weekend will be Albion, Anderson (S.C.), Aquinas, Ashland, Aurora, Ball State, Bellarmine, Bowling Green, Calvin, Cardinal Stritch, Cedarville, Central Michigan, Colorado Mines, Concordia (MI), Cornerstone, CSU-Pueblo, Cuyahoga CC, Davenport, Detroit-Mercy, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, Edinboro, Ferris State, Findlay, Florida International, Hillsdale, Hope, Illinois State, Illinois Wesleyan, Indiana Tech, Indianapolis, IUPUI, Lake Erie, Lake Superior State, Lewis, Loyola (Ill.), Malone, Marian (IN), Marquette, Mars Hill, McKendree, Metro State, Michigan State, Northern Illinois, Northern Michigan, Northwood (MI), Oakland, Saginaw Valley State, Siena Heights, SIU-Edwardsville, Southern Indiana, Spring Arbor, St. Francis (Ill.), St. Joseph's (IN), Tiffin, Trine, Valparaiso, Walsh, Wayne State, Western Michigan, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Wisconsin-Parkside.
Last year's edition of the Big Meet saw a number of meet and facility records fall in an action-packed two days. New Big Meet men's 400m dash and women's 600m, pole vault and long jump records were set, as were Kelly Family Sports Center records for the men's long jump and the women's 600m.
Live results of both days will be available on the day of competition via a link on the track & field schedule page. A performance list for the meets are linked above, as is a time schedule for both days of competition. The schedule will be updated in the event of any changes to the meet.
