Grand Valley State University Athletics

    Thomas began his career as sports information director at GVSU in 1976 and served 20 years for the Lakers in that capacity (1976-1996). During that time, several of Thomas' publications earned national acclaim. Don maintained excellent rapport with the area and state media personnel for several years. Thomas was a loyal contributor to GVSU, and was always looking for ways to assist the athletic department in any capacity.
