    Carol VandeBunte won All-GLIAC honors in basketball and softball and played on eight GLIAC championship teams from 1975-78. Her 1,063 points and 911 rebounds were among the career leaders. A starting catcher in softball for four years, her batting average was .372. VanderBunte also served as an assistant basketball coach at Grand Valley. She is a graduate of Hudsonville High School.
